Tarkani

Tarkani, or Tarkalanri, a Pathan tribe inhabiting th e whole of Bajour, on the border of the North-West Frontier Province of India. Subdivided into Mamunds, Isazai and Ismailzai, the tribe numbers some ioo,000 persons.
