Mecklenburg, a territory in northern Germany, on the Baltic Sea, extending from 53° 4' to 54 0 22' N. and from io° 35' to 13° S7' E., unequally divided into the two grand duchies of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
